Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform various clinical procedures. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to determine health status.
- Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Administer injections and IV infusions as required for patient treatment.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures including suturing and dermabrasion.
- Catheterize patients when necessary, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Manage care for patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting, demonstrating expertise in hospital medicine.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant license or certification from an accredited program.
- Experience in primary care or hospital medicine preferred.
- Proficiency in performing IV infusions, catheterizations, suturing, and administering injections.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and clinical evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
- Experience or interest in research is a plus.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
