Full Job Description
An established neurology practice in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Candidates will work alongside a team board certified neurologists and APPs in a clinic based setting. Full-time hours, Monday-Friday only, NO weekends or call. The practice specialize in treating a full range of neurological disorders including stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, headache, peripheral nerve and muscle disorders, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Monday-Friday in an outpatient setting
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Arizona State License
- Neurology, neurosurgery, pain management or orthopedic experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
