Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience with vascular medicine and/or wound care. The physician assistant will work in a busy outpatient clinic setting alongside the Medical Director and other mid-level providers. If PA has experience with wound care and/or minimally invasive venous procedures (EVLT, RFA, Varithena) , this could result in increased compensation. MD is willing train motivated candidates.

Bilingual, spanish speaking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Manage follow-up care for patients, ensuring continuity of care in an outpatient setting.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical practices related to internal medicine and addiction counseling.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in performing various medical procedures relevant to outpatient care.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about best practices in the field of medicine.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80.00 – $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
