Full Job Description
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic Dermatologic diseases and conditions- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and other treatments based on patient needs- Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care- Document patient encounters, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in electronic medical record systems
Qualifications:- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in any state and eligible to apply for licensing in Texas- 2 years of strong clinical knowledge and skills in Medical Dermatology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for documentation and data management
