Full Job Description
Cardiology of Hudson Valley is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology practice, led by Peter N. Sayegh, MD. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up. While experience in cardiology is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone motivated to grow with the practice.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments and interpret diagnostic results.
Responsible for interpreting cardiovascular diagnostic tests, including ECGs, cardiac event monitors, and conducting ECG treadmill stress tests. Additionally, oversee nuclear stress testing conducted by an external company.
Treatment Planning and Management: Develop and implement individualized care plans, prescribing medications and therapies.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with Dr. Sayegh for coordinated patient care.
Follow-up and Monitoring: Conduct follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with standards.
Utilize medical coding for accurate documentation of patient records and billing processes.
Qualifications:
Degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies.
Current state license and national certification.
Prior experience in cardiology or related fields (preferred but not required).
Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: ~ 24 per week (three weekday 8 hour shifts)
