Full Job Description

Vantage Medical Associates is a rapidly growing multi-specialty group practice. We are looking to fill a position for a provider interested in or with experience doing wound care in patients homes. We have openings in our NORTH AND CENTRAL NEW JERSEY territories.

You will be joining our highly experience team of physicians and nurse practitioners to provide wound care in an outpatient setting. Reimbursement will start with a base rate per patient and be supplemented based on treatment (placement of biologics, collagenase, Una boots, etc). Total reimbursement should average about $200/hr.

CHRONIC WOUND CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. SHOULD BE ABLE TO EVALUATE AND MANAGE CHRONIC WOUNDS AND PLACE ALLOGRAFTS AS NEEDED

The selected candidate will be responsible for routine outpatient care. Vantage Medical Associates specializes in providing quality care in our community

Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to the following:

  • Vists patient homes to Examine, diagnoses and treats patients
  • Wound culture
  • Evaluation of wounds. Appropirate and compliant documentation, picture taking, description, and communication about the wound.
  • Complete and descriptive documentation is needed to ensure appropriate treatment and compliance
  • Ensures fulfillment of Vantage Medical Associates commitment for ensuring quality care
  • Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases in general practice
  • Examines patients, using medical instruments and equipment
  • Collects, records and maintains accurate patient information
  • Documents items such as: past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan
  • Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition
  • Analyzes reports and findings of tests and of examination, and diagnoses condition
  • Administers or prescribes treatments
  • Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan
  • Vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases
  • Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease
  • Consult with appropriate medical specialist when necessary; refer patient to subspecialists within network

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

  • New York State Licensure, Board Eligible and/or Certified and required
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence
  • Experience with Wound care
  • Spanish and or Russian Preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $125.00 – $200.00 per hour
