Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Oncology / Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

This is a full-time opportunity to make a profound impact in oncology. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist with clinical trials, and provide compassionate, cutting-edge care to patients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct patient assessments, health histories, and physical exams.
  • Write prescriptions for medications, blood products, and follow-up treatments.
  • Evaluate clinical trial eligibility and interpret diagnostic test results.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage acute and chronic patient needs, including family support and education.
  • Participate in daily rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and patient triage.
  • Maintain detailed patient documentation and communicate with referring physicians.
  • Promote oncology and specialty services through outreach and patient education.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Master’s degree required (from an accredited NP or PA program).
  • Active Georgia APRN or PA-C license
  • Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.
  • Oncology experience preferred (2-5 years), but specialty experience also considered.
  • BLS certification required; AOCN-P certification preferred.
