Physician Assistant – Trauma Surgery

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered and NCCPA certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant.
• Must have NPI number and be Medicare enrolled or eligible within six months of hire.
• CPR and ACLS Certification required.
• Experience in trauma care preferred.

Duties:

• Provides first-assist duties in emergency surgical procedures.
• Evaluates and stabilizes trauma patients in emergency and ICU settings.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic imaging and lab tests.
• Performs wound care, suturing, and minor surgical procedures.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary trauma team efforts for patient management.
