Full Job Description
A well-established cardiology practice is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology or related fields, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms as needed.
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmias.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and engage in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing (for NP candidates).
- Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for NPs.
- Previous experience in cardiology or a related field preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay: $132,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
