OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Assist in diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Perform medical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and ventilating patients as needed.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient documentation and management of electronic health records.
• Provide health coaching to patients, promoting wellness and preventive care strategies.
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.
• Interpret medical imaging results and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Knowledge of clinical trials and experience in conducting or participating in research is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
