Job Summary
We are currently seeking Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Orthopedic Nurse Practitioners. Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies
Administer non-surgical fracture reductions
Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections
Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound
Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions
Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts
Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies
Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation
Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in patient as determined
Qualifications
6 months of outpatient experience as an Orthopedic Provider
(Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN/Physician Assistant/PA)
6 months of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
Education Requirements:
Masters Degree preferred
NY State NP License
License Requirements: Drug Enforcement Administration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
