Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and update detailed medical histories while employing diagnostic tools to dictate medical necessity.- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests.- Prescribe medications and other treatments based primarily on the physicians plan, making modifications as needed in collaboration with the physician.- Refer patients back to physician when new issues arise for further evaluation.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Educate patients about their conditions, pain management therapies, and provide counseling on preventive healthcare measures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) based on the physicians established care plan.- Perform and document post-procedural follow-up.- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in pain management and/or orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, a positive.- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Proficiency in utilizing medical equipment and technology, including medical imaging systems- Ability to analyze complex medical data like lab results and make informed decisions- Knowledge of data management principles for maintaining accurate patient records
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
