Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology team in Monterey Park, CA. This role is ideal for an individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality care to adult patients dealing with hematology and oncology conditions. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in hematology or oncology, with a deep passion for improving patient comfort and outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Work closely with oncologists to develop and implement personalized care plans for each patient.
• Manage symptoms and side effects related to cancer treatments to improve patients’ quality of life.
• Provide education to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Deliver compassionate care throughout the patient’s treatment journey, ensuring a supportive environment.

Position Details:

• Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on experience
• Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, PTO, 401(k)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional hospital rounding (5-10%)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hematology or oncology
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients and their families
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
