Full Job Description
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed to assist with established PM&R practice based out of various skilled nursing facilities.
Current need is for part-time candidates (potential possibility to transition to full-time).
The role requires rotational travel to facilities in the South Bay and surrounding areas, (primarily: Torrance, Playa del Rey, Paramount, Long Beach) with flexibility for some remote work. Set your own work schedule and hours. A portion of work to be done from home.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified, you will be responsible for conducting physical examinations focusing on pain/rehabilitative management, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, and developing and implementing treatment plans. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care. We additionally offer a dedicated back-office staff to support your role.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified license
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active DEA license
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based and remote healthcare environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience in skilled nursing/geriatric care is preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites is a requirement
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour
