Our clinical care team consists two providers offering team-based, patient-centered care in neurogenerative diseases including Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Neuropathy, neuromuscular diseases, and neurotoxin injections. To be the best fit for this position we need a candidate who is intellectually curious, enjoys learning new material, enjoys complex problem solving, understands how to use algorithms, but also understands when algorithms do not apply. We would like our candidate to characterize themselves as one who excels with complex thinking and managing clinical problems that are often in a grey area. A successful candidate for this position will have the ability to learn how to document quickly and effectively once they learn how to perform the position and will need to complete documentation in a timely manner.

At Selkirk Neurology we require collaboration with team based problem solving as a group which includes our nurses, medical assistant, physician, and mid-level providers, as well as other providers in the community.

Pending completion of successful training after 1 year in movement disorders, timely documentation completion, as well as excellent medical decision making, the candidate would be offered an option to participate in clinical trials for movement disorders in our research unit Inland Northwest Research.
