Full Job Description

Elite Wound Care Center is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a minimum of two years of advanced practice experience to join our dedicated team. We specialize in the management of chronic, non-healing wounds, venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and other complex wound conditions. Our practice follows evidence-based guidelines, including ADA protocols for diabetic foot ulcers, to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing management for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
  • Implement advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, compression therapy, and bioengineered skin substitutes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, care, and healing processes.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to develop and optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to billing and compliance regulations.
  • Stay current with the latest wound care advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned within the scope of wound care practice.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a current Montana license.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), preferably in wound care, dermatology, vascular, or a related field.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat chronic wounds effectively.
  • Knowledge of ADA guidelines and best practices for diabetic foot ulcer treatment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative care environment.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
