Full Job Description
We are looking for a Physician Assistant for our busy and growing spine surgery practice. Responsibilities will include diagnose and treat conditions related to cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. The job description of a nurse practitioner includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, and radiology tests and overseeing patients’ health and assisting in the operating room. As a Nurse Practitioner, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Set patients up for surgeries when appropriate
- Scrub in during surgical cases and act as a first assistant in the operating room. (These responsibilities will increase as you become more familiar with the surgery workflow.)

Hours
- Hours may vary with physician schedules and on call coverage responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
