Founded by Dr. Michael Decker, D.O., PRC was built with a vision to enhance patient care through clear communication, education, and teamwork within every facility we serve.

We are a rapidly growing rehabilitation group, and we are looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real impact on patient care while enjoying a healthy work-life balance in a family-like environment, PRC may be the perfect fit for you!

Why Work at Pacific Rehab Consultants?

At PRC, we believe that the success of our team is driven by a shared commitment to providing excellent care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work culture. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Work-Life Balance: We offer a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call shifts, allowing you to enjoy your personal time without the stress of unpredictable hours.
  • Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary based on experience, along with generous benefits, including vacation time, holidays off, and productivity bonuses for employee loyalty.
  • Professional Growth: We support your continued growth and development, providing opportunities to advance your career within a thriving company. Whether you’re an experienced PA or newer to the field, there are always opportunities for learning and progression.
  • Supportive Environment: As part of our team, you will work closely with Board-Certified Pain Physicians and collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.

The Role:

As a Physician Assistant at Pacific Rehab Consultants, you will play a key role in the delivery of patient care at skilled nursing facilities under the supervision of a PM&R physician. You will work in close collaboration with our physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care and the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive PM&R evaluations and follow-up visits for patients.
  • Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate, in accordance with PRC’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate nursing and therapy staff on best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with physicians across various specialties to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient interactions using our user-friendly Elation Health electronic medical records system.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring and compassionate individual who thrives in a team-based environment.
  • An expert-level clinician with excellent problem-solving skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • A Physician Assistant (PA-C) certified by the respective board.
  • A current California state license and DEA license.
  • No PM&R experience required—we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds, including those new to rehabilitation medicine.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary and a robust benefits package.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays off, with no on-call and no weekend shifts.
  • Opportunities for productivity bonuses based on performance and employee retention.
  • A positive, family-like work culture that fosters collaboration and professional growth.
  • A set Monday-to-Friday schedule with NO evening shifts.
