Job Title: Wound Care Physician AssistantPosition Type: Part-Time, Mobile Position

Location: Patient Homes (Chicago and Northern Suburbs)

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care PA to join our team. In this part-time, mobile role, you will deliver expert wound care services directly in patients’ homes, ensuring they receive exceptional, personalized care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performing advanced wound care procedures, be self-motivated, and excel in organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced wound care services, including:
• Sharp debridement
• Compression therapy
• Mist therapy treatments
• Application of skin substitutes and advanced wound dressings
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for wound care patients.
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care best practices and preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Travel to patient homes with necessary equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted PA license in Illinois.
• Certification and experience in wound care (WCC, CWON, or similar credentials preferred).
• Experience in advanced wound care, including performing debridement, compression wrapping, and applying skin substitutes.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to thrive in a mobile setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while ensuring a high standard of care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
