Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Join Our Growing Team at icare pediatrics

Position Highlights
- Flexible Scheduling: Choose between 8 AM–3 PM or a later start at 12 PM or 2 PM.

Qualifications
- NP – Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
- PA – Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- NP – Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
- PA – Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Licensure and Certification
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan
- National certification as an NP or PA (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- DEA/CSL, required through credentialing.
- DEA – NPs do not have controlled substance licenses, only PAs. When NPs apply, they will enter MI license number instead of controlled substance license since they won’t have a CSL.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an APP.
- EPIC Experience, preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic expertise.

- Skilled at delivering compassionate, high-quality care in fast-paced settings.
