OverviewAt Dr Phillips Mefocal Wellness Center , We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health and well-being, as well as the ability to perform various medical procedures and assessments For obesity and quality and preform customized medical plan for each person.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including pediatrics.
• Order and interpret medical imaging and laboratory tests.
• Provide education and counseling on health maintenance, family planning, and addiction counseling.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient care plans.
• Assist in the management of patients requiring neonatal ventilator support.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.

Experience

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or family medicine.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of addiction counseling practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic medical procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding is necessary for compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $104,007.00 – $112,406.00 per year
