About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and family medicine clinics. Your primary goal will be to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, while also providing education and support to patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Experience in emergency medicine, plastic surgery, pain management, occupational medicine, family medicine, urgent care, or emergency room settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing education
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical exams and taking medical histories of patients
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Assisting physicians in developing treatment plans for patients
- Performing minor surgical procedures and providing wound care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
Skills:
As a Physician Assistant, you will utilize your skills in emergency medicine, You will work closely with physicians to diagnose and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform minor surgical procedures. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in providing education and support to patients and their families. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
Compensation details: 75-85 Hourly Wage
