Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team 3 days in our Temecula office and 2 days in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in various settings, including urgent care and trauma centers. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while ensuring the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, airway management, and acute pain management.
• Provide addiction counseling and support to patients as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
• Utilize telehealth systems to deliver care to patients remotely when appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure.
• Experience in urgent care or trauma settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in systems relevant to patient care management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
