Your Impact
As a Physician Assistant (PA) in Wound Care, you will play a critical role in delivering expert, field-based care, helping patients heal, and transforming wound management standards. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and adaptable clinician who thrives in autonomous, patient-focused environments while embracing innovation and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
✔ Deliver Specialized Wound Care – Assess, diagnose, and manage chronic and complex wounds, perform debridement, NPWT, tissue biopsies, and oversee gastrostomy tube management.
✔ Optimize Patient Outcomes – Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based best practices and AI-enhanced diagnostics.
✔ Educate & Advocate – Empower patients, caregivers, and facility staff with knowledge on wound care protocols, recovery strategies, and preventive measures.
✔ Document with Precision – Maintain clear, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR) to ensure streamlined patient care and communication.
✔ Drive Clinical Innovation – Leverage AI-powered tools and telehealth solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes.
✔ Adapt & Excel in the Field – Travel daily within your region (50–70 miles) to multiple care sites, adapting to diverse healthcare settings and patient needs.
✔ Contribute Beyond the Expected – Participate in process improvements, research, and training initiatives, and perform other clinical duties as assigned.

What You Need
Required:
-
Active, unrestricted California Physician Assistant license
-
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
-
Proficiency in wound care procedures, including debridement, NPWT, and feeding tube management
-
Reliable transportation and a valid California driver’s license for regional travel
Preferred/Advantageous:
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications

Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWS) or ability to obtain within 6 months

Experience in geriatric care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or home health

Tech proficiency in EHR, telemedicine, and AI-driven clinical tools
