OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in various settings, including urgent care and clinics. This role requires a strong understanding of medical standards, anatomy, and the ability to perform essential procedures such as gastric lavage and airway management. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results accurately.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by supervising physicians.
- Provide urgent care services, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Assist in discharge planning and provide education to patients regarding their health conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with ICD-9 standards.
- Stay updated on best practices in hospice palliative medicine and other relevant fields.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of urgent care practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures and airway management techniques.
- Excellent understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience in discharge planning and patient education is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
