Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care (Locum) – Floating between Coburg and Woodburn
Start Date: MayContract Length: 13 – 26 weeks (3 – 6 months)Shift Details: 3 x 12-hour shifts per weekSchedule: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Ideal schedule: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday + some weekends (flexible for the right provider)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) with urgent care experience to join our freestanding outpatient urgent care facility in Oregon. The provider will work independently with support from an MA and RN while managing a diverse patient population of all age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Perform , splinting, and other minor procedures
- Order and interpret necessary tests for acute care management
- Maintain thorough documentation in Experity EMR
Position Details:
- Patient Volume: 35+ patients per day
- Practice Setting: Outpatient, freestanding urgent care
- Support Staff: MA, RN (solo APP coverage)
Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Required
- State License: Oregon (Active)
- DEA License: Required
- ACLS Certification: Required
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of urgent care experience
- Credentialing Timeframe: 4 weeks
