Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 by founder Dr. Keith Schroeder, Orthopedic Surgeon. It all begins with listening to our patients and taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists’ physicians have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients’ bones, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions.
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Schaumburg, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett
The ideal candidate would be a Physician Assistant with orthopedic upper extremity experience. You must be able to function independently within the scope of your license. You need to be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team performing walk-in-care services. Perform wound care, cast changes, splinting, minor injections, diagnostic imaging interpretation.
Daytime Physician and PA sub-specialty resources available during working hours.

Requirements:

- Controlled Substance License and DEA Number REQUIRED
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- 1-2 years of Orthopedic experience REQUIRED
- Previous experience in hand-to-shoulder orthopedics REQUIRED
- Ability to work as an independent physician assistant clinic
- Experience with Athena E.H.R. preferred
