Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled NP/PA for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patients’ conditions closely, identifying any changes that may require immediate attention.
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients receive appropriate follow-up care and education.
- Provide esthetic laser treatment when necessary, adhering to clinic protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, coding, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care provided.
Experience
- Current Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner License license in good standing.
- Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and patient assessment techniques.
- Knowledge of coding practices related to healthcare services is a plus.
- Experience with inhalation therapies or other respiratory treatments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
