You can join this nationwide network through Clinical Renal Associates, which is seeking passionate and dedicated Physician Assistant to join their team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, though those with dialysis or nephrology experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience. Hiring Package:
- Competitive base salary, plus potential for productivity bonuses
- $1,000 CME allowance annually + 5 days
- 4 weeks PTO
Schedule/Practice Details:
- No weekend or call coverage expected
- Responsible for capturing dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician)
- May have their own panel of clinic patients, but the majority will be collaborating with physicians to alternate care
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
- Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
