Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in various settings. This role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and communicating with the medical team.

3 office locations, part-time to full-time position. Outpatient clinic with pain management focus. Excellent support staff and thorough on-boarding with training and physician support. Scribe available. No calls, no weekends.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain medical histories.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records following ICD-10 coding standards.
• Thorough documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Assist in maintaining smooth clinic flow.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and therapies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and best practices.

Requirements

• Valid PA/NP license and certification from an accredited program.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in triage, discharge planning, and patient assessment.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding practices is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and supporting patients through their treatment journeys.
• Strong computer skills (EHR, typing, basic administrative)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $450.00 – $550.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
