Full Job Description
The facility is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to provide Locum coverage.Dates of Coverage: Starting February 7, 2025, with ongoing needs to support two full-time providers.Reason for Coverage: Cover our two Hampton Roads clinics when providers need time off or while one of our positions is vacant.Practice Setting: Occupational HealthSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-close (close at 4:30pm but can be delayed by walk in injuries)Average Number of Patients per Day: 8-10Documentation System/EMR: SystocNumber of Exam Rooms: 5Number of Physicians in Practice: 1Description of Support Staff: RNs, RTs, MAs, LPN, RN Supervisor, Office Manager, PSRsRequired Duties: Pre-Employment Physicals, Return-to Duty Testing, DOT Physicals, workers compensation injury care
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified – REQUIRED
- Active VA – REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS Certified – REQUIRED
- DOT Certification – REQUIRED
- MUST BE WILLING TO COVER LOCATIONS AS LISTED IN JOB
- AVAILABILITY MUST BE NOTED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR – Preference to providers that can cover ALL dates
- Immunization – Influenza – Current Flu Season; COVID; TB / QuantFERON TB Gold; MMR – REQUIRED TO NOTE CONFIRMATION AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
