Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Northeastern Pulmonary Associates, a well-established pulmonary practice with 40 years of excellence, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our dynamic team.
We specialize in the outpatient management of a wide range of respiratory conditions, including:
  • Asthma & Allergies
  • Emphysema & COPD
  • Interstitial Lung Disease
  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
  • Sleep Apnea
  • And many more pulmonary disorders

Experienced Pulmonary Physicians for Collaboration Dedicated Respiratory Therapists & Nursing Staff Administrative Support for Seamless Operations
What We’re Looking For:
Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Experience in outpatient patient management (inpatient experience is a plus) Background in respiratory illnesses is preferred but not required Passion for comprehensive pulmonary care and patient-centered treatment
Responsibilities:

New Patient Consults: Assessing new patients in collaboration with physicians to establish a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan, which includes gathering detailed medical histories and conducting initial evaluations.

Follow-Up Appointments: Regularly monitoring patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans, and managing pulmonary conditions over time.

Lab Reviews: Analyzing lab results to assess the effectiveness of treatments and make necessary adjustments, ensuring that patient care is guided by up-to-date clinical data.

Telehealth Visits: Conducting remote consultations and follow-ups to provide continuous care and support to patients who cannot visit in person.

Specialty Pharmacy Coordination only requires a clinician call: Communicating with specialty pharmacies as needed to discuss drug availability, insurance coverage, and patient-specific medication needs.

Peer-to-Peer Discussions only if required in rare instances: Engaging in discussions with other healthcare providers and insurance medical reviewers to advocate for the necessary tests, medications, and procedures for your patients. This also includes assisting with or handling peer discussions when the administrative staff require support in these matters.

These roles combine direct patient care with the administrative and collaborative tasks necessary to ensure that all aspects of patient treatment are covered comprehensively and efficiently
