Job Description
· To provide care and assistance to patients admitted to hospital with cardiac ailments.
· To provide cardiac follow – up care in the office setting.
· Responsible for diagnosing and formulating plan of treatment for cardiac ailments.
· Requesting laboratory tests and interpreting results
· Should be able to function independently and in collaboration with attending cardiologist.
Requirements
· Education
o Master degree in Nursing
· Experience
o 2 years NP experience preferred
o ER or ICU RN experience required
· Certificates, Licenses and registrations required
o TX RN License
o Recognized and licensed as and Advance Practice Nurse in the State of Texas
§ Certified by ANCC, AANP as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
o ACLS and BLS
o Prescriptive Authority privileges through the State of Texas
o DEA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
