Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including internal medicine and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, conducting medical imaging, and performing various procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status through physical examinations and medical histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including internal medicine conditions.
- Perform medical procedures such as venipuncture, gastric lavage, and basic life support techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Skills
- Proficient in internal medicine practices and patient management strategies.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis.
- Strong venipuncture skills for effective blood sample collection.
- Knowledge of protocols within a Level II Trauma Center setting.
- Basic life support certification is required; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and data analysis.
- Experience in assisted living environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform gastric lavage safely when indicated.
- Competence in administering inhalation therapies as necessary for patient care.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is beneficial for pediatric patients.

Pay: $113,015.00 – $129,999.00 per year
