Award Winning Orthopedic Practice!

We are a nationally recognized orthopedic and neurosurgery practice looking for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work closely with our patients and physicians on a daily basis. Our organization has rapidly expanded over the past several years and we are actively seeking a talented and hard working PA or NP to join our team of dedicated professionals. We also have multiple offices throughout CT and NY. As the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner, you would be working alongside our total joint surgeons doing 1st assist in the hospital. You would also be working pre op and post op at our clinic. We have an elite team of physicians from the best fellowship programs in the country and you would be working closely with them and developing your clinical skills. This position would be 4 10 hour shifts with minimal on call. Please see job highlights below.

Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Location: Stamford CT

Salary: $120,000 to $140,000

Responsibilities for Orthopedic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner :

Performing casting/splints and dressing changes

1st assist in the Operating Room for total joint surgery

Pre-operative and post operative care in clinic setting

Helping patients manage any metabolic issues

Diagnose and treat neuromuscular disorders

Documenting notes in EMR system

Reading MRI results

Ordering lab test/X-rays

Requirements for Orthopedic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner :

Must be board Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Program

We will new graduates!

Must have valid Connecticut state PA / NP license (or in process)

Active DEA license

Strong organization skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
