OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedist Physician assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Perform procedures and injections as necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, including imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, chiropractors, primary care/pain medicine/orthopedics physicians, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems such as Tebra.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving orthopedic practices and patient care methodologies for the clinic.
Qualifications
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies PA-C.
- Board certification in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Experience in Orthopedic medicine or Pain management is advantageous for comprehensive patient management.
- Proficiency in administering Orthopedic injections.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices for accurate documentation is desirable.
- Skills in triage to prioritize patient care effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Over 10,000 hours of practice preferred but not necessary.
- Spanish Speaker preferred but not necessary.
- Availability to work 1 or 2 Saturdays a month.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $144,000.00 per year
