Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)to join our in-patient healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a hospital setting. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients and maintain responsibility for the assessment and care of Gastroenterology patients under the direction our gastroenterologists. The NP/PA has primary responsibility for the assessment, evaluation, care and follows up of all patients referred to Digestive Healthcare of Georgia. Under the direction of the Supervising Physician, the NP/PA has overall responsibility for the planning and continuity of care for all patients.
Qualifications
Must have active state license by an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification -or- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and their families.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
