We are currently seeking a mid level provider to work at least two days per week with the capability of treating patients from low to high acuity of all range groups. The candidate will work alongside physicians, medical assistants and x-ray technicians. The applicant will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with the ability to perform procedures.
Duties:
- Provide urgent medical care to patients in need of immediate attention
- Obtain histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care and splinting within scope of practice
- Provide continuity of care for patients with pre-existing or long term conditions
- Make referrals for secondary and tertiary care
- Provide health maintenance visits and anticipatory guidance to patients
- Review labs and ensure patients are called back within a timely manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Ability to perform the position responsibility and satisfactorily
- Ability to work independently under the supervision of a physician
- Ability to use electronic medical records
- 3+ years working as a mid level provider in either an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
- Experience in cosmetic procedures and/or holistic medicine is a plus

Pay: $72.67 – $80.34 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
