Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Benefits:

  • Compensation: $190,000 – $200,000
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Retirement Plans, Voluntary insurance, 16 PTO days a year and increases after 24, 48, and 72 months, 13 paid holidays, and more!
  • Coverage begins on the first day of the month following date of hire

The Integrated Care Center Clinic delivers hope, health, and transformative care to underserved populations by offering comprehensive and compassionate services, including primary care, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment. As a federally qualified health center, it provides integrated, team-based care addressing homelessness, mental illness, substance use, and chronic medical conditions. The clinic seeks a mission-driven leader with experience in staff management, quality improvement, and innovation to champion change and drive its impactful, patient-centered approach. This is a union position.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduation from a United States accredited program for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.

    • Possession of a California Nurse Practitioner Certificate; OR
    • Possession of a current, valid California License to practice as a Physician Assistant issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance
    • Minimum of two years experience as licensed NP or PA
    • Possession of DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate
    • Possession of BCLS/CPR certification
    • Familiarity with medication assisted treatment

Knowledge Required:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma informed treatment

Desired:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • LGBT Cultural competence and able to work with a diverse population
  • Comfort working on teams and with safety net populations

Essential Functions:

  • Clinical Care Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive care, within the scope of credentialed privileges and standardized procedures, to HR360 patients in a team based delivery model

  • Documents care promptly and following charting protocols and applicable CA state licensing requirements;

  • Completes patient sessions in a timely manner;

  • Organizational Responsibilities: Maintains availability for various administrative/clinical duties as requested by supervisor (e.g., case presentations; in-service training to staff. Completes all mandatory trainings on an annual basis.
