Our established pain management office is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our interventional pain management team! The Pain Center is urgently seeking to add an additional Physician Assistant to our team.
We have two offices – one is located in Boise, ID and one in Caldwell, Idaho. The right candidate would work based out of our Boise office 3 days a week and see patients in our Caldwell location 1 day per week.
In this role you will be responsible for physical exams and consultations, office visits, pre- and post-surgical consults, recommending interventional pain management injections, interventional surgery or physical therapy, performing procedures including major joint steroid injections and trigger point injections.
The patient base is mostly comprised of adult spine and pain issues, with chronic pain cases. Will require ability to manage medications and prescribe controlled substances. Providers generally will see approximately 15-30 patients per day.
This position offers a four-day, 36-hour, workweek, Monday – Thursday 8:00-5:00, with NO nights and NO weekends. Occasional call coverage may be requested 1-2 times a year when supervising physician is on vacation.

Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified Physician Assistant in the State of Idaho with a strong desire to work in Pain Management are welcome to apply.
- Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted.
- Pain management experience is a plus.
- DEA licensure with ability to prescribe CII-V medications. (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Drug Substance certification required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
