Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Clinic in Renton, Washington. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and are task driven. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, performing minor procedures, and ensuring comprehensive care in various medical settings such as outpatient clinic, long term care facilities, adult family homes, etc. We are looking for a committed individual to our clinic and where physician will help personally develop your skills and knowledge overtime. Starting out 3 days a week hourly position and will switch to RVU position upon competency of the position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform procedures such as suturing (rarely), phlebotomy (rarely), and sometimes starting IVs for fluids and abx.
• Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) in Office Ally.
• Participate in long term care situations, including AFH, ALF, memory care, etc.
• Manage pain management protocols for patients requiring such interventions.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and critical care practices to provide effective treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
• Experience in ER, urgent care, pain management, ICU, or critical care settings is preferred but not required. Will train on the job by physician.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation and care plans.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
