Are you a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant looking to make an impact in healthcare? We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team, working with patients in the Neurosurgery and Neurology departments. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 – $140,000 and includes excellent benefits.
Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services by performing clinical duties and technical procedures. Your responsibilities will include coordinating care for in-patient and emergency department patients, supporting the medical teams, and fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. Your commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care will be critical to ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties and assist in medical procedures in Neurosurgery and Neurology.
- Coordinate care for all in-patient and emergency department patients.
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies for safety and quality care.
- Maintain required certifications and licensure.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- 1-3 years of experience preferred (entry-level candidates welcome).
- Maryland PA License.
- NCCPA Certification.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Certifications.
- Maryland CDS Registration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
