Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong background in various medical practices, including emergency medicine and memory care, as well as proficiency in medical imaging and laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and identify needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Perform phlebotomy and other laboratory procedures as required.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients, particularly in medical-surgical settings.
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant discipline.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Acute Care designation or training with pediatric patients.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical practices, emergency medicine, and memory care protocols.
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient assessment techniques.
- Experience with medical imaging systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
