Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care under the supervision of a physician, working collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of various medical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results, including radiography and pathology tests
- Assist in various medical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on medical advancements
Details:
- Shifts vary -7a-7p, 7p-7a. 7 on/7off availability would be preferred
- Not doing daily rounding on patients, just responding to traumas
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications
- MD diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certs
- All medical licenses
- DEA
- Board Certification
- Life support cards- BLS
- Current and previous certificates of insurance
- Driver’s license
- Professional color photo/headshot
- CMEs for the past 2 years
- Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
- References
- Case logs
Requirements
- NCCPA/AANP- Required
- Active ID license or IMLC – Required
- ACLS – Required
- Local candidates, no flights – Preferred
- Must have previous Trauma experience to be considered.
- Board Certified

Pay: $55.88 – $67.29 per hour
