Oregon Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our dynamic pediatric care team. The ideal candidate will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for children from infancy through adolescence. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical care to pediatric patients in outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
- Conduct physical exams, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medical treatments.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed under the supervision of a pediatrician.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and other staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical and legal guidelines.
- Participate in patient follow-up and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Certification: Current Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- Licensure: Valid Oregon Physician Assistant License.
- Experience: Previous experience in pediatrics or family medicine preferred, but new grads may be considered with strong interest in pediatrics.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pediatric patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of current pediatric care practices and medical protocols.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
