Job Title: Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Practice)Location: Milwaukee, WI & Surrounding Clinics (Union Grove, Oconomowoc, Appleton, Cleveland, Green Bay)
Position Type: Full-time, OnsiteShifts: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
About the Role:We are seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physicians to provide high-quality primary care services to our Veteran beneficiaries at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (VAMC) and its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This role involves treating military and civilian patients with a focus on delivering exceptional care in line with National Standards set by the American Board of Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine. Physicians will work in a collaborative team environment with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and allied health professionals.
- Function as a full team member in delivering quality care to both civilian and military patients at the VA facilities and clinics.
- Document care plans and patient interactions according to VA policies and procedures.
- Manage patient diagnostics, make appropriate medication adjustments, and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Work closely with the Lead Physician and other clinical staff at various locations.
- Be available to accept patient diagnostic results communicated via phone after hours.

- Physician 1: Milwaukee VAMC, Union Grove CBOC, Oconomowoc VA Clinic
- Physician 2: Appleton CBOC, Cleveland CBOC, Green Bay Health Care Center
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience working in a primary care setting (VA experience is a plus but not required).
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Current certifications for infection control measures and immunizations (PPD, Measles, Mumps, etc.).
- NPI and DEA numbers required.
- Evidence of liability insurance and completion of blood-borne pathogen training.
Hours & Benefits:
- 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, Monday to Friday).
- No weekends or holidays.

Additional Requirements:
- All applicants must pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

Pay: $80.00 – $90.00 per hour
