OverviewPrivate practice Gastroenterologist is looking to work with a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal is one who enjoys part time work with flexible shifts. This position requires a strong belief in putting patients first!
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing patient conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Evaluate and Schedule patients to enroll in various medical weight loss programs available
- Evaluate and schedule patients for endoscopic procedures (EGD and Colonoscopy)
- Document patient encounters using EMR system
- Engage in research activities to support evidence-based practices within the practice.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure.
- Experience in GI practice is a plus.
- Interest in Holistic care, wellness medicine and medical weight loss is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
