Full Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a superb physician assistant who can join our team. This is a highly respected Plastic Surgery practice with a stellar reputation. The ideal candidate has experience in plastic surgery specifically, is highly skilled with aesthetic procedures, has outstanding work ethic, is very personable, has great organizational skills, and is very motivated to succeed. The position will involve all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to, assistance with operating room procedures, seeing patients post operatively, facilitating patient consultations and answering all patient questions. The positions also involves administrative duties such as completing patient notes, patient care documentation, photograph archiving. The schedule is mostly 9-5 pm. Surgery days start earlier and end later. On call duties are required and consist of answering patient calls after hours and on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all surgical procedures.
- Assisting with all non surgical procedures
- Assisting with consultations
- Assisting with follow up appointments
- Assistance completing all operative and non surgical notes.
- Assistance with taking patient photographs and archiving of photographs
- Answering all surgery related patient questions during and after regular business hours
- Administrative duties including, but not limited to, completing paperwork related to maintenance of professional certificates/ licenses/ etc.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure to practice medicine.
- At least one year of experience in Plastic Surgery specifically is required.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
