Physician Assistant
Advance Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate full time Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our private gastroenterology practice who can work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a clinical setting, mostly outpatient clinics and rarely in hospital setting
- Conduct patient examinations and obtain medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat Gastroenterology conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Order, interpret and review diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging and pathology reports
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care.
- Return phone calls to the patient for health related questions and test results.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
