Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment and make a positive impact on patients’ lives. This position will be working with a team of orthopedic doctors to cover surgical cases, ED visits and treating patients in clinic and on the floor.
Duties:
– Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results- Administer medications and injections as prescribed- Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing patient education- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Experience:
– First assisting in OR preferred- Familiarity with occupational health standards and practices- Skilled in assessing vital signs accurately- Competence in conducting physical examinations- Ability to triage patients efficiently
